BionicX was founded upon the idea that advanced technologies should be accessible to everyone, for humanity to embrace such advancements and evolve beyond its natural limitations. This vision inspires us to push the boundaries of what it means to be human, leveraging technology to transcend physical and mental limitations.
At BionicX, we specialize in designing and crafting bionic prosthetics that blend technological advancement with affordability. By embracing innovation as a catalyst for evolution, we aim to create a future where humanity thrives in harmony with advanced technologies, unlocking new levels of potential
It all began with a bold idea — to build a low-cost, 3D-printed prosthetic hand.
In a world where advanced bionic prosthetics often come with price tags in the tens of thousands, we saw a glaring gap. A gap between innovation and accessibility. And we were determined to bridge it.
In late 2022, driven by passion and empowered by open-source designs, we brought to life a working myoelectric prosthetic prototype — at just a fraction of the cost found on the market today. It wasn’t just about engineering; it was about reimagining what’s possible for people who need it most.
By 2023, our vision turned into reality when a volunteer wore our prosthesis during our first clinical trial. That moment was more than a milestone — it was a glimpse into a future where advanced prosthetics aren’t a luxury, but a right.
Now, we’re moving forward. With every iteration, every improvement, we’re designing a bionic hand that is not only more capable but truly accessible. Because we believe no one should be left behind by technology.
In late 2022 we completed the development of a multi-grip myoelectric prosthesis dropping the cost even more than 90%
In 2023 we concluded several stages of clinical trials with our volunteer's successful control over our bionic device
Using 3D scanners we created and 3D printed a fully customized socket. This procedure was directed by our experienced prosthetist.
Following real-life assessments, we collect critical feedback, as we further optimize our bionic hand
