In a world where advanced bionic prosthetics often come with price tags in the tens of thousands, we saw a glaring gap. A gap between innovation and accessibility.

In early 2023, driven by passion and empowered by Open Bionic's open-source designs, we brought to life a working myoelectric prosthetic prototype — at just a fraction of the cost found on the market today. It wasn’t just about engineering; it was about reimagining what’s possible for people who need it most.

By the end of the same year our vision turned into reality when a volunteer wore our prosthesis during our first clinical trial. That moment was more than a milestone — it was a glimpse into a future where advanced prosthetics aren’t a luxury, but a right.

Now, we’re moving forward. With every iteration, every improvement, we’re designing a bionic hand that is not only more capable but truly accessible. Because we believe no one should be left behind by technology.
